Green Bean Soup with Beef
Sauté onion in olive oil in large cooking pot.
Add stew meat stirring meat until browned.
Add the carrot and red bell pepper and stir for 5 minutes.
Add the green beans, crushed tomatoes, water, salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, turmeric, basil and bay leaves.
Stir and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat to low, cover and cook for 1 hour.
Serve with red pepper flakes or sour cream.
