Southern style green beans with lots of flavor.
Cook bacon, until crispy and set aside. Use the bacon drippings to saute the chopped onions and garlic. Crumble the bacon and put it on the bottom of the slow cooker. Add the green beans, the onions, garlic salt and pepper. Stir and pour the beef stock and water over the mixture. Cook on low for 6 hours.
