Suggest a better description1) Heat frying pan without oil or butter and toast sesame seeds, 3 minutes until golden brown. Mix the hoisin sauce with the sesame oil.
2) Whisk flour, cornstarch, egg, sesame seeds, 2/3 of the green onion and the salt with 2 cups water to form a smooth batter.
3) Heat half the peanut oil and spoon batter into 3 inch circles. Cook 1-4 minutes at a time depending on the size of your pan. Fry pancakes on medium-high heat until golden brown and crisp. Repeat with remaining batter adding more oil as needed.
4) Garnish with remaining green onions an serve with hoisin dipping sauce.
