Suggest a better descriptionGrind the tomatoes in a food processor or in a blender. Place the tomatoes and sugar in a large non-metallic pot and boil for 20 minutes, skimming the foam. Remove from heat and quickly add the package of Jello. Stir until the Jello is dissolved and immediately put into hot, sterilized jars. Immediately cover with hot paraffin. Tastes just like raspberry jam. This is a good way to use green tomatoes and is great for gift giving. The next time I make this jam, I will half the recipe and experiment using strawberry Jello.
