My wife found this recipe in a magazine somewhere and I modified it by using turkey instead of hamburger meat. It's a little healthier using the turkey, and you really can't taste the difference. This awesome meal is also on my Pinterest page.
Brown meat in skillet. Drain. Add Manwhich sauce. Stir on low flame and set aside.
In another pan, start making your grilled cheese sandwich. Place a pat or two of butter in the pan. Once melted, swirl the bread all over the butter, so it gets every inch. Place cheese on top of bread. Before cheese starts to melt, take a big scoop of sloppy joe and place right smack in the middle of the cheese on the bread in the pan.
Now place another slice or two of cheese on top of meat followed by another piece of bread. Smoosh down to make a flatter sandwich.
With spatula in left hand, scoop sandwich. With right hand, put a pat or two of butter (margarine, or the like) in the pan. Once it starts to heat up (which is almost instantly), carefully flip over sandwich with new side down and let that side brown up to your liking. Flip until you like.
