This is a grilled cheese sandwich that you will never forget! Goes great along with a bowl of soup or all on it's own! This recipe will take you back to that old childhood feeling of a good country home cooked meal by Mom
#1. Start by having the frying pan(s) heat up while preparing the rest. On the stove with 1 being low and 10 being high, set the element to about 3-4.
#2. Coarsly chop the onion
#3. Lay four slices of bread out on the counter; place 1 slice of cheese on each slice of bread.
#4. Using approx. 50 grams of each, both ham and turkey, evenly spread the meats over each slice of bread with cheese
#5. Sprinkle the diced onion over the meat and top with another slice of cheese. Use the other four slices of bread to close up the sandwiches
#6. Butter both sides of bread and place on frying pan. Fry each side until golden brown.
#7. Cut diagonally and serve with caesar dressing for dip.
#8. Sit back, relax and enjoy the amazing sandwich you've just made!
Have everything out on the counter, ready to go, and it makes your prep time that much quicker. It helps so you don't have to go hunting for something right in the middle of the recipe!
