Sprinkle chicken pieces with black and white seasoning in the morning and leave in fridge until ready to cook.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a baking sheet with foil and place rack on top. Set baking sheet into oven while preheating.
Mix rub ingredients in small bowl and then toss with chicken pieces until well coated. Use cast iron skillet and vegetable oil and/or butter to sear chicken over med-high heat. Sear in batches until brown on both sides. Once well browned transfer to baking sheet in the oven. Once all batches are in, bake for 20-30 minutes or until at least 165 degrees internal temperature.
