In gallon sized ziplock bag, combine first five ingredients. Seal the bag and squish until all ongredients are combined. Pull a bit out for basting during cooking. Add the brats and seal, turning to coat. Place in refrigerator for 30 minutes.
Grill covered over medium heat for about 10 minutes turning frequently. Baste with reserved sauce and grill for 3 more minutes. Turn and baste one more time and continue to grill for another 3-5 minutes until no longer pink inside.
Alternate method of cooking: Broil using a broiling pan coated with tinfoil. This method will cause smoke in your house so be prepared to have the smoke alarm go off!
