An alternative way to eat your greens--grilled! Hot and lemony lettuce, sprinkled with fresh parmesan

1. While the grill is heating, cut each romaine head in half. Wash well and drain, but DO NOT separate the leaves.
2. Brush each half-head liberally with olive oil, cut side and back. Sprinkle with
3. Grill each half for 3 minutes, cut side down. Press down with tongs to make sure the lettuce gets a good sear. Flip and grill the other side of the lettuce head for another 1-2 minutes.
4. Remove the grilled lettuce from the heat. Sprinkle with more salt and pepper and drizzle with a little more olive oil. Squeeze fresh lemon juice over each half and sprinkle with grated Parmesan.
Eliminate the Parmesan to make this dairy-free.
