Line plate with double layer paper towels and place tofu slices in single layer on top. Place another double layer of paper towels on top and refrigerate 2 hours.
In small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, sesame oil, 2 T oil, ginger, and scallions. Brush each tofu slice with vegetable oil on both sides.
Prepare hot fire in charcoal grill, or preheat a gas grill to 500 degrees (high). Grill tofu, turning once, until heated through and golden, about 2 mins per side. Place tofu on serving platter. Spoon dressing over and around each piece. Sprinkle lightly with pepper flakes and sesame seeds and serve.
