Bring chicken broth to a boil.
Stir in grits, salt and pepper; return to boil.
Cover, simmer over low heat until grits thicken to desire consistency.
Mix in cheese, green chillies and pour into a 13 X 9 baking pan. Note: (Other breakfast items such as crumbled fried bacon, crumbled sausage, or cooked scrambled eggs, or cooked shrimp may be added if so desired at this step)
Place in oven and bake at 350 degrees until brown and bubbley.
