1. Brown scallions, garlic and lean ground beef in the olive oil. Separate the ground beef with a wooden spoon.
2. Add spices and brown rice, mixing well.
3. Add water and chicken broth.
4. Cook on low until rice is done
you can throw in a small amount of chopped bell pepper or celery, depending on your taste. I omitted salt because the broth contains salt. You made add salt and pepper to taste.
