Heat olive oil in a cast iron pot. Add chicken and garlic & brown. Add onion, bell pepper and celery and cook for 5 minutes. Add salt, cajun spice and cayenne and cook for 2 minutes. Add tomatoes and beef broth. Reduce heat and cook 5 minutes. Add sausage and butter. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer for 20 minutes. Add gumbo file in last 2 minutes
