Cream butter and sugar with paddle attachment in stand mixer. Combine flour, baking powder and salt in a separate bowl. Slowly add egg yolks to sugar/ butter one at a time, scraping the sides of the bowl and paddle in between. Add vanilla.
Add flour moisture slowly, while mixing. Scrape the bowl periodically mix just until all combined; remove from bowl and wrap tightly in plastic wrap. Refrigerate for at least an hour.
Remove and roll out to about 1/4 inch, using flour on table and rolling pin.
Bake at 350 degrees for 13-15 minutes until edges are just turning slightly golden.
