Place a large saucepan or small stockpot on a high flame and add olive oil and salt. Chop the onion, toss in the pot and and stir until starts to brown. Chop the potatoes into small cubes. Add chopped potatoes and stir. Chop cabbage and add to pot. When cabbage starts to wilt and become translucent, add chicken broth. Stir soup, and wait for it to boil. When it's reached boiling, turn flame to simmer and wait 30 minutes. That's it. You can then eat to your heart's content!
