To prepare the topping: combine mayonnaise, lemon juice, garlic, mustard, parmesan, green onions and tabasco.
To prepare halibut: place the fish on a broiling pan cut side down. Sprinkle with lemon juice and salt and pepper. Bake in preheated 450 degree oven 12 minutes per inch of thickness or until the fish tests done.
Remove the fish from the oven and turn oven to broil. Spread the stop of the fish with the topping. Broil for 1 minute or until topping is done.
