This is a very easy recipe to follow and leftovers (if there are any) are still amazing!
Combine the hash browns, sour cream, cream of potato soup, sharp cheddar, and ham in a large bowl and mix together.
Pour into a 9x13 greased dish and press down (evening it out). Sprinkle the Parmesan cheese and garlic salt over the top. (seems like a lot but is perfect).
Bake at 375(F) for 1 hour or until bubbling.
I have also pre-made this and put it in the freezer to cook later. Still tastes WONDERFUL!
