This recipe is for a FULLY cooked ham (smoked ham is cooked)! Slice first if it doesn't fit but reduce around 5 minutes from every cooking stage. **See below for other instructions if no Air Fryer.
Preheat Air Fryer to 320.
Wrap ham in foil but leave seam at the top so it can be opened.
Cook in Air Fryer for 25 minutes.
Combine all the glaze ingredients. After 25 minutes, carefully open foil and drizzle glaze on top. Close up the opening again and cook 10-15 minutes (ham should be 135-140F.
Fold the foil down and cook ham 5-10 more minutes or until glaze is brown and ham is 145F. Rest 10 minutes before serving.
****No matter which way you prepare this, it's good to lightly cross hatch the ham before starting to cook. Cook fatty side up.****
Oven: follow oven instructions on ham. Make glaze while it starts cooking (still use the foil method). Thickening the glaze in a small pot helps it stick to ham. Do NOT add glaze until around last 12 minutes. Rest 15 minutes before carving.
Crock Pot: less of a "glaze" but still really good. Put a little brown sugar in bottom of cooker, cross hatch. Add ham. Mix glaze and pour on top. Cover and let the crock pot do all the work. a 3-4 pound ham should take about 2 hours on low. So, 8-10 pounds would take about 4-5 hours.
This is a small ham. You can double everything if you need so long as it fits in your Air Fryer. Keep in mind that a larger ham will need to have cook times increased too.
