This comes from Mom's original Good Housekeeping Cookbook that she got at her bridal shower. It's great!
About 40 minutes before serving:
-Cook onion and garlic in butter on a skillet (medium-high heat) until golden (approx 3 mins)
-Stir in ground beef, mushrooms, flour, salt, pepper and paprika. Stir often, cook till meat is brown (approx. 7 mins)
-Stir in soup and heat to boiling
-Reduce heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes to blend flavors
-Stir in sour cream and heat (do not boil)
Serve: spoon over hot mashed potatoes or rice noodles
