Suggest a better descriptionMix first three ingredients, bring to boil without stirring. Cook until candy comes to a hard ball when dropped in a cup of cool water. It will crack when put in water. The color of the mixture turns slightly golden. Remove from heat stir in flavoring and coloring. Put in greased cookie sheet. Allow to partially cool. Score with pizza cutter before hard.
Break into pieces and put in air tight bowl. Sprinkle with powered sugar to keep pieces from sticking to each other.
