Mix dry ingredients together and add buttermilk in which soda has been dissolved.
Roll very thin using a "bumpy" rolling pin. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet 350 ? until it starts to firm up...about 5-6 minutes. Then slip it off the sheet onto the oven rack and finish baking, about 10-15 minutes total.
This takes some practice and patience to make. Put the oven racks on the top and bottom locations in the oven.
It should be golden brown but will not brown evenly. Burns quickly at the edges.
