Spiced pumpkin bread with chocolate chips and nuts. Delicious at the holidays, but good all year too!
Pre heat overn to 350 degrees.
In a bowl combine all dry ingredients. In a large mixing bowl cream softened butter. Add sugar. Blend in eggs one a time until well blended. At low speed add dry ingredients alternately with pumpkin, beginning and ending with dry ingredients. Stir in chips and nuts (hold out a handful of nuts for topping). Turn into a greased loaf pan and sprinkle with reserved nuts.
Bake for 65-75 minutes until done.
