My husband wanted a hearty meal but doesn't tolerate red sauces well. We decided to make up our own recipe for a chicken lasagna since nothing really matched what we were in the mood for.
Be forewarned, I'm not a recipe writer. I grab stuff and cook with it. I assume a person knows how to do simple prep of ingredients.
Toss the chicken, mushrooms, garlic, onion, basil and soup in the crockpot and let it get happy until the chicken shreds easily by fork. Add the Alfredo sauce and let it simmer and get happier.
Layer the noodles, chicken mixture, cheese & veggies in whatever manner you do lasagna.
Top with cheese, cover & bake. Or don't cover and bake. Our oven is wonky so my temperature and cooking time would probably ruin your version.
