Meatballs: Mix together first 7 ingredients, form into meatballs and roll in flour. Brown in olive oil and set aside.
Add onions, peppers and salt and pepper then cook until soft. Add the mushrooms, potatoes, beans, tomatoes, spices and chicken broth. Bring to a boil then reduce heat to simmer and cook until the potatoes are tender and the meatballs are cooked through, approx. one half hour.
