Heavily layer nachos, not for snacking, but a full dinner.
1 - Evenly layer tortilla chips onto a baking sheet or three pie pans.
2 - Add sliced sausage, peppers and green onions.
3 - Evenly spread the salsa on top.
4 - Cover with grated cheese.
5 - Evenly spread the mushrooms on top.
6 - Broil until cheese has melted and started to turn golden.
Eat immediately before the salsa soaks into the chips! Have done it without the salsa layered in and it is some how disappointing. I did try with salsa on the side as a dip and my girlfriend did like it that way too and wants to try it again that way.
