Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Wipe mushrooms with a damp cloth. Remove stems and chop finely. set aside.
Heat butter in a large skillet. Saute mushroom caps, on bottom side only (2-3 minutes) and remove and arrange bottom side down in a shallow baking pan.
In same skillet, saute chopped stems, green pepper & onions, until tender (about 5 minutes). Remove from heat and stir in seasonings. Use to fill mushrooms caps, mounding mixture high in the center.
Bake in preheated oven for 15 minutes. Serve warm from tray.
Makes 16 servings at 2 calories each.
