Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar together. Add eggs one at a time, beating mixture well after each. Heat the syrup in a small sauce pan; add candy bars one at a time until all are melted. Alternately add the chocolate and the flour to the creamed mixture. Dissolve the salt and baking soda in the buttermilk; add to the creamed mixture. Add vanilla last. Pour mixture into a greased bundt pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 55 minutes. Allow cake to cool, turn bundt pan upside down and drop cake gently onto a serving tray. Drizzle chocolate syrup over cake just before serving.
