1. Preheat oven to 170?C/325F/gas mark 3. 2. Melt the margarine in a pan. Gently cook the onion and mushrooms for 5 minutes. Transfer them to a mixing bowl and add all the other ingredients. 3. Season to taste with salt and pepper and mix well. Press mixture into a greased, shallow baking tin and bake for 25-30 minutes. 4. Cut into 20 small squares and serve. NOTES : Makes 20 small squares. These savoury squares are unexpectedly good.
