Peel, core, and chop apples. Chop into smaller chunks so they cook more quickly.
1. Combine all ingredients in a medium sauce pan.
2. Bring to a simmer over medium heat. Cover and reduce heat to low and simmer for twenty minutes or until apples are soft and tender.
3. With an immersion blender, blend applesauce until smooth. You can do your favourite flavours like cinnamon or even vanilla to jazz it up a bit.
4. Serve warm or cold.
Store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks or freeze it.
