This is a simple and quick homemade sauce. Nothing special or groundbreaking. Just yummy! Makes enough sauce for a couple of medium pizzas (1 Med Pizza = 1 Serving).
This is about as simple as it gets. Mix all the ingredients together really well in a bowl.
I personally recommend that you make this sauce the day before. I usually make it and then put it in the fridge overnight. This lets the flavors really blend together. If you can't do that, just simmer it on very low heat for a few minutes to get the flavor mix started, then wait for about 20-30 minutes before you use it.
I say salt to taste, because some people like more salt than others. I usually just put a dash. Also if you do not have onions available, or just don't want to dice them up. You can sub a couple of teaspoons of Onion Powder instead. I prefer real onion myself.
Some brands of tomato sauce can be pretty acidic so if that is an issue, you can also add about a 1/4 teaspoon of sugar to counter it.
Hope you enjoy this!
