1) In a small saucepan, bring oatmeal and water or milk to a boil. Once the oatmeal begins to boil, reduce heat to low and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
2) Remove from heat, add nuts, nut butter, honey or maple syrup, berries and cinnamon. Transfer half of the oatmeal to a bowl and serve immediately.
*Variations-if you're pressed for time, feel free to put oats and water/almond milk in microwave for 2 min. Add remaining ingredients and serve.
