Heat oven to 350
Heat honey to almost boiling. Mix sugar, pecans and spices. Pour hot honey over mixture. Add wine. When cool, add flour. (Add more flour if not still enough to roll).
Roll, cut with cookie cutter or knife and bake until light brown.
Cookies will be hard after cooling. Best served if stored in airtight containers for a couple of weeks.
