Suggest a better description1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
2. Season chicken with salt and pepper.
3. Melt 2 tablespoons butter in an ovenproof skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken, skin side down and sear until brown (2-3 minutes per side). Remove chicken and place on a plate.
4. Melt the remaining butter in a skillet. Add garlic and cook until fragrant. Remove from heat.
5. Stir in the brown sugar, honey, oregano, thyme, and basil until combined. Return chicken to skillet.
6. Bake until chicken reaches 165 degrees F. (25-30 minutes).
I used a cast iron skillet.
