This is my mother's recipe and actually calls for putting it in a percolator. Fortunately, you can cook it in a pan instead.
Place juice in percolator. Break up 3 sticks of cinnamon and put in percolator basket with 1 teaspoon whole cloves. Perk on strong. Sweeten to taste. Serve in cups.
OR simmer in pan about 5 minutes then strain.
