Great on ice cream, yummy on apples.
In sauce pan, combine sugar, 1/2 cup can milk, corn syrup and butter mix well. Bring to a full boil. Gradually add remaining can milk, being sure boiling does not stop. Cook over medium heat until it reaches soft ball stage (234 degrees), stirring occasionally. Remove from heat; stir in vanilla. Serve warm. Store in the refrigerator. Great cold on Apples.
