One of my favorite soups growing up, this soup has lots of veggies and enough hot dogs to please the kids.
1. In a 4.5 quart Dutch pan, combine carrots, potatoes, onion, and water (enough to cover the veggies). Bring to a boil; reduce heat. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes or until veggies are just tender.
2. Add hot dogs and peas. Cover and cook 5 minutes more. Stir in milk, soup, and cheese. Cook and stir until heated through and cheese is melted.
