Add Old Bay to water.
Bring water and spice to boil.
Add raw shrimp to boiling water.
Return to boil.
Reduce heat.
Stir pot.
Simmer for three minutes.
Stir shrimp. Remove from heat and cover with lid. Let shrimp steep for:
**medium shrimp - 3 min.
**large shrimp - 6 min.
**jumbo shrimp - 9 min.
