Suggest a better descriptionIn a mixing bowl mix all the ingredients for the meatballs. Mix well. Then measure out a heaped tablespoon and roll lightly to form a ball. Repeat with remaining mixture.
In a large pot, heat oil over medium heat. Cook the meatballs until browned and sealed. Set aside. Add minced onion and saute until translucent and fragrant, about 6 to 8 minutes. Add the garlic and bell pepper, continue to saute for another 5 minutes until the garlic is fragrant but not burnt and the bell pepper tender and crisp. Add the meatballs back into the pot and season with salt and pepper, cook for 5 to 6 minutes stirring once. Add the paprika powder beef bouillon (if using any) and caraway seeds evenly across the meat. Add the diced tomatoes into the pan and pour 3 cups of water into the pan, Stir a bit and bring to a boil.
Simmer and reduce heat to low and cover the pot.
Let the mixture simmer slowly for about 45 minutes, adding water as needed to keep it from drying up.
Taste and add seasoning if needed more.
Serve over potatoes, rice or noodles.
