Fresh cortado with great espresso taste, light vanilla note, and cinnamon flair
Pour 2 fresh shots of espresso
Add a splash milk immediately if you don’t want shots to die (oxidize)
Add a splash (or about a tsp of pure vanilla (I use vanilla from Dominican Republic because it’s fancy haha)
Mix in honey while espresso is still relatively warm and easy to mix.
Add 5 ounces of milk of choice (I use unsweetened almond or oat milk)
Add ice and shake
Strain liquid (without ice) into drinking cup
Use electronic mixer/frother to mix in cinnamon. Alternatively, you can mix manually by with fork - the way you would beat eggs so that the cinnamon mixes better.
Pour into glass of choice and enjoy!
Note: *optional to reduce amount of almond milk if you use creamer
