Suggest a better description1. Combine tomatoes, 2 Tbl oil, 2 Tbl chopped garlic and 1/2 tsp salt in roasting pan.
2. Place in a 450Foven for 35 minutes and roast until slightly carmelized
3. Heat remaining oil in sauce pot.
4. Saute onions slowly until soft.
5. Add garlic and saute until aromatic.
6. Add wine to deglaze pan.
7. Add roasted tomatoes, tomato paste and water.
8. Bring to boil and simmer for 35 minutes.
9. Pass through food mill fitted w/ med or large blade, alternatively puree in blender and pass through a strainer.
10. Adjust seasoning as needed.
