From Grandma Ray's exchange student
Pour oil in a pan so it's 1/2 inch deep then heat. Add ingredients and mix well. Roll out into circles and place in oil. It will bubble when the oil is hot enough. Use canola oil for brown scones and use olive oil for taste and yellow scones. Makes around 8 scones.
