Suggest a better descriptionPreheat oven to 300. Prepare a deep 2-qt. casserole.
Scald 3 Cups of milk in a saucepan. Remove from heat and stir in cornmeal and molasses. Return pan to heat and cook, stirring for 2-3 minutes over medium heat until slightly thick. Remove pan from heat and stir in the sugar and the rest of the ingredients. When well mixed pour into the prepared casserole.
Bake uncovered for 30 min. Pour the remaining 1 C of cold milk over the pudding. Do Not Stir. Continue to bake for 1 1/2 hrs. longer.
Serve warm with coffee ice cream.
