After all the ingredient have been mixed thoroughly, shape into oval balls about 5" x 2 1/2" and place on a shallow baking pan. Prepare the sauce below. Put a small dent in each loaf and put about 1 tablespoon of the sauce in it. Bake at 350 for 25 - 35 mins.
Sauce: 3/4 cup catsup
1 tablespoon good quality chili powder
2 tablespoons vinegar
2 tablespoons sugar
2 teaspoons worschestershire sauce
Few drops of Liquid Smoke
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 cup of water
Heat in a small sauce pot for 10 mins. before using on the meat loves. Any extra can be made available at the table.
The chili powder I have is very hot so I don't use the cayenne pepper also. Make a double batch and freeze the extras.
