1. Prepare (slice, mince) all ingredients as described.
2. Heat oil in saucepan over medium heat, add garlic and brown slightly.
3. Add tomatoes, stir till they soften, about 5 minutes.
4. Add sugar, vinegar, oregano, salt and pepper, thoroughly combine with tomatoes. Cook for another 5 minutes over medium heat.
5. Add green beans, then tomato sauce, stir. Simmer over medium to medium-lo heat for about 10 minutes. Serve!
