In large saucepan, cook sausage, onion, and pepper till sausage is thoroughly done. Drain fat. Add everything else, PLUS 2-and-a-third cups water. Heat to boiling, then cover and simmer 20 mins, stirring occasionally until rice is done. 4 servings, 500 cal each.
