Ahhh, my husband's favorite recipe from his mom. Basically a calzone.
Let the bread defrost in the refrigerator overnight or let stand at room temp for 2 hours.
Remove sausage from casing and cookin a frying pan at medium heat until brown and crumbly. Remove from heat, drain fat and let pan cool. Beat 1 egg, mix with herbs and mozarella, add to sausage.
On a lightly floured surface roll and stretch dough into a 6x18" rectangle. Spoon sausage over dough to within 1/2" of edge. Roll up dough, starting from long side, pinch seam firmly to seal.
On baking sheet, shape roll into a ring. Pinch ends together to seal. Slash top of ring with sharp knife every 2 inches. Beat remaining egg and brush over bread ring; sprinkle with parmesan cheese. Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 35 minutes.
Bake in a 350 degree oven for 30 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm.
