A great main dish salad.
Preheat oven to 350?. Put Italian sausage pieces in single layer on rimmed baking sheet and bake for about 12 minutes or until cooked through. Do not overcook. Drain sausage and set aside.
Mix together sun-dried tomatoes, Kalamata olives, cooked rotini, kidney beans and sausage in large bowl. In separate bowl whisk together next 5 ingredients (olive oil through basil) until thoroughly mixed and pour over pasta mixture. Stir gently until combined. Refrigerate several hours to blend flavors, stirring gently several times.
Serve with a dusting of Parmesan cheese.
Garlic is a major flavor in this salad. Use less if desired, or omit roasted garlic entirely.
