You can use different meat variations ex. ground beef, pork, veal or lamb. Half of ground beef and half of what you choose.
Combine meat, egg, bread crumbs, garlic, parsley, basil, grated parmesan and mix well. Shape meatballs into size of a teaspoon. Heat oil in large skillet and cook over medium-high heat, turning often until done (5 min.). Set aside. Bring broth and water to a boil in a large sauce pan or dutch oven, reduce heat to low. Add meatballs, pasta, spinach and peas. Cover and simmer until pasta is done (7-10 min.).
