Suggest a better descriptionCombine raisins, zest, & whiskey in a small bowl. Let soak for 20 minutes. Butter a 9 x13 baking dish. Place bread in prepared dish. Whisk eggs & sugar together in a large mixing bowl. Stir in milk & vanilla. Sprinkle the raisin mix evenly over bread cubes. Pour egg mix over bread and let stand for about 15 minutes. Heat oven to 375degrees. Dot the top of the pudding with butter & sprinkle with nutmeg. Bake until golden brown and set in the center, about 35-40 minutes. Serve warm. Drizzle each serving with heavy cream, if desired
