crust: Crush th crackers into a large mixing bowl. Stir in brown sugar. Add butter and mix well. Press crust ihnto bottom of 8 inch pie pand and up sides of dish to within 1/4 inch of the top of the dish. For a soft gooey pie, set the cust aside to bake when filled (baking the unfilled crust 5 minutes in a preheated 350 degree oven produces a crisper crust)
Filling: Cream butter and sugar in small bowl of mixer Add eggs one at a time beating to blend after each addtion. Add whiskey and beat to incorporate. Add flour, scraping tghe boel periodically until well blended smooth and shiny. Fold chocolate and pecans into batter by hand Pour filling into prepared crust and bake in preheated 250 degree oven for 1 1/2 hours.
